A Stutter Start to Week 1

We were a little slow out of the gates for the start of this season.
There was every intention of lining the Skymark field prior to week one, but the wet weather said otherwise. We’ll look to have it lined this Sunday (again, weather depending).

On the Men’s side, the Wednesday games were pushed back until next Tuesday so we could enjoy watching the Raptors play. Good decision! The same situation may present itself next Thursday. We’ll be monitoring and keeping in touch with the affected teams.
On Thursday, the start of the night was delayed by the fact that the soccer goals at each end of the pitch were locked in placed and could not be moved out of the way. So, for safety, that meant the field had to be remeasured and made a bit shorter. The delay caused us to run over time at the end of the night. No one was happy about that – neither the teams nor the operations staff. This will be addressed for next week.
